As a wedding photographer, I have captured some truly stunning weddings in my career, but Brooke and Jason’s wedding at Plenty Mercantile was truly a one-of-a-kind event. This hidden gem of a venue, tucked away inside a gift shop and retail store, boasts not only an indoor area but also a truly breathtaking rooftop overlooking the lively Automobile Alley of Oklahoma City.
Stepping inside Plenty Mercantile’s indoor space, I was struck by the beauty and unique charm of the venue. It exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with exposed brick walls, rich wooden floors, and walls filled with antique framed photographs. As Brooke and Jason took their portraits, the natural light streaming in from the large windows made for some truly stunning shots.
But it was the rooftop that truly stole the show. As soon as we stepped onto it, I was blown away by the beauty of the view. The stunning Oklahoma City skyline stretched out in front of us, creating the perfect backdrop for some truly unforgettable wedding photos. With the sun setting in the background, Brooke and Jason looked positively radiant, surrounded by their loved ones and the beautiful cityscape.
One of the things that struck me most about the venue at Plenty Mercantile was the way it seamlessly combined elegance and simplicity. The exposed brick and warm wood gave the space a rustic, homespun feel while the rooftop and city views added a touch of glamour and sophistication. It was the perfect setting for Brooke and Jason’s special day, and I’m so grateful to have been able to capture it all on camera.
